Why Aakron?
Specifications: AAKRON publishes its specifications and the dimensions all add up. We will not over state our sizes, load capacities or weights just to sell dinghies.
Exceptional loading capacity
With a load capacity of over 1250lbs the AAKRON inflatable - 9’6” is
capable of carrying more, safer and drier than some manufacturers costing nearly twice the price. The buoyancy of an AAKRON Inflatable boat is far greater than that of a traditional boat, giving it a higher loading capacity, safer sea state handling and overall security of mind. Our inflatable boats often have some of the highest load capacities and with CE certified load capacities higher than that of some commercial rescue boats costing over twice as much.
Standard sizing range from 7’6” up to 12’6”. Airmat and wood floor in stock.
Reassuring stability
The stability of an AAKRON inflatable boat is thanks to its large buoyancy tubes which give it a low center of gravity and under normal circumstances are practically impossible to capsize. This quality, which is essential to safe confident navigating, is especially appreciated by fishermen and divers.
Practical in every way
The light weight Airmat floor inflatable boats are not only lightest in AAKRON’s range they are the easiest to inflate, deflate and store. Have you ever thought of putting your rigid or foldaboat into the trunk of a mid size sedan? Or for that matter storing a traditional boat in a cupboard or the corner of a garage? The reason is that once deflated and folded, the space taken up by an AAKRON is so much smaller that transporting it and storing it becomes extremely easy. Most mid-sized sedans can accommodate both the inflatable boat, outboard motor and extra gear whilst being able to close the trunk. NB: The wood floor version is slightly heavier but takes up virtually the same space.
An economical boat
Operating an AAKRON requires smaller outboards than conventional boats to provide better performance thus saving you money when on the water. Their maintenance is straight forward and their resale is high with good residual prices, hence costing less when out of the water. With AAKRON inflatables the cost of ownership can be very economical.
Almost as light as air
Take a look at an inflatable boat. You see fabric, a wooden transom, the fittings... but you forget the air contained in the inflatable keel or in the buoyancy tubes which gives the boat its shape. Looked at this way, it is hardly surprising that an AAKRON Airmat floor or Wood floor boat fully inflated can be up to 3 times lighter than a comparable traditional boat making launching and pulling onto the beach so much easier.
